Dan M3
This new, low profile light is a single compact flashing unit. It is manually activated by pressing the switch on the front of the light. The light is emitted through an ultra low profile dome, making the light less susceptible to damage during evacuation.
Dan W3
This is the automatic version of Dan M3. The light activates automatically when in water and can be turned off manually if required.
Activation
All Daniamant Lifejacket Lights are designed to suit the applications faced by our customers. However, we can offer alternative methods of activation as follows:
Manual Activation. “M”. As it implies, the Light will only operate manually. The Light can be tested with the switch and can also be switched off if required.
Water Activation. “W”. The light will switch on Automatically when the water contacts are immersed in water. Please note it may take up to 20 seconds for the light to switch on. The light will remain on whilst the contacts are immersed in the water, but may well switch off if the contacts are removed from the water. In those circumstances, the light can be switched on and off manually as required via the switch.
